David De Gea Bids Manchester United Farewell.

A 12-year journey at the Theatre of Dreams has come to an end at old Trafford for David De Gea. At 32 years, DDG calls his career at Manchester United quit after running out of contract at the club last month. He had joined Manchester United from Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid in 2011 under renowned Scottish manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

At Old Trafford, DDG won the Premier League (2013), Community Shield and the FA Cup (2016), the League Cup and the UEFA Europa League (2017).

He was also named the club’s Player of the Year four times and scooped the Golden Glove Award for the most clean sheets in the Premier League last season (2022/2023).

In a post by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, David De Gea expressed his profound gratitude to the club that has helped him make waves in the footballing world. Such a blistering career he’s had with Manchester United.
