Captaincy Change Imminent at United

The UK Sun has reported the readiness of Erik Ten Hag to change the arm that wears the band in the United first team. Before now, Maguire has captained the United squad but fell short of making the 1st team by having just eight premier league starts last season with Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof considered ahead of him.

It’s common knowledge that Maguire isn’t in the long term plans of ETH at Old Trafford and while the nect candidate would have been David De Gea, the goal keeper has bid United Farewell. Bruno Fernandes has however been touted to be the man that will lead United out of the tunnel for the incoming season. Afterall, he wore it for the past season anytime Maguire didn’t start.

This may be the best indication for Harry Maguire to seek another clubside where he can get a regular shirt.
